
With more than a decade of experience in reviewing and analyzing information from a wide range of industries, Nextra Solutions Director Angela O’Neal assists clients with mitigating risks associated with managing large volumes of data. Her legal experience as a civil litigator, and years spent as an investigator with the NCAA give Angela a unique perspective on the identification, preservation, collection, review, and production of all manner of legal documents. This skill set has made her a critical resource for both in house and outside counsel, whom leverage Angela’s expertise throughout the entire eDiscovery process. Angela’s primary goal is to create defensible solutions that meet all client requirements – on time and on budget.
To deliver, she oversees a project management team of highly experienced eDiscovery and Information Security professionals, enabling the delivery of solutions and strategies to a diverse range of clients; from the legal profession, to government agencies, and large corporations.
Previously, Angela used her attention to detail and experience dissecting complex legal and civil matters as an investigator for the NCAA. In this role, she reviewed information pertaining to possible violations of NCAA rules and worked with member institutions to investigate and process major rule violations. Angela also worked directly with division one athletic programs, serving as the as the Assistant Athletics Director and Director of Women’s Basketball Operations for the University of Kentucky, and the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations for the University of South Carolina. Angela’s extensive experience in law, athletics and corporations, makes her uniquely suited to her role as Director of Nextra Solutions.
